Then her vision returned with a vengeance.
She groaned as a ray of sunlight hit her face.
Sunlight? That wasn't right. According to Iacon's rotation schedule, the sun wasn't due to rise for a few more stellar cycles. As she thought this, a cold gust of wind hit her faceplate.

Red Alert. Missing in action. One phrase that didn't belong with one name. This was out-of-character of Alert, and Wheeljack knew it. He knew she was in trouble. He didn't know how it happened. He didn't care.
Wheeljack kept repeating this in his mind as he came off the ship he'd managed to secure. It wasn't big or fancy. By all means, it was a withering rust bucket not worthy of two highly regarded science officers such as himself and Perceptor. But for this to be a success, they had to be discrete and swift.
